We were invited to collaborate on an advertising campaign for Kasa Stefczyka. Our task was to enhance a live-action spot with animation integrated into the real world. This time, we faced an unusual challenge: instead of avoiding associations with cartoons and drawings, we were tasked with capturing the spirit of a child's imagination.
The animation needed to look like it was drawn by a child while remaining visually cohesive and aesthetically pleasing within the context of the entire campaign. The key was finding the balance between the raw quality of a child's sketch and a polished design. To ensure the animation would truly harmonize with the footage, our team was present on set during the video production phase. This allowed us to ensure the right shots, perspectives, and space were captured for integrating the animation during post-production.

Although stop-motion is a common choice for concepts like this, we opted for 2D cutout animation due to its greater flexibility for revisions. Through precise tracking and specific effects, we successfully blended the animation with the live footage while maintaining the feel of stop-motion.

The campaign consists of three commercials maintained in a consistent style and color palette, creating a cohesive, light, and memorable whole. We are thrilled to have been part of this project.
